Do it with Passion

If you have a passion for it, you will surely succeed.  Whatever “it” is, do it with passion.  Do it like you mean it.  Do it because you love it!  Don’t just do it for the money or attention.  If you love doing it, half the battle is already won. 

         If you love what you do, you will have no problem engaging in that activity.  There will be no need for someone to coax you, bribe you, or motivate you to do it.  Just look at the lives of the people who are very successful at what they do.  If you ask them, they will tell you that they simply loved it and the rest came naturally.

         Take the example of great basketball players, tennis players, soccer players, musicians, and even scientists.  You will find that there were times in their lives where they were so engrossed in what they were doing that they forgot to eat and didn’t care for sleep.   However, they never saw that as a problem or an issue.  They had such a passion for their craft that time didn’t seem to matter.  Time went by for them so quickly and easily when they were doing what they loved.  

         In addition, practice and repetition is a very important part of becoming great at something.  You need to put in the time for practice and repetition.  There is a well-known saying that says to get really good at something, you must put in one thousand hours.  Just imagine if you put in one thousand hours at anything that you like doing.  Certainly, it will become “second nature.”  You will gain so many skills that it will seem easy to you, while other people who are new to it might see it as challenging.  You might also be thinking...one thousand hours?  However, that won’t be a problem if you have a passion for it; one thousand hours will go by before you know it.

         Lastly, if you have a passion for something, you will gladly spend time learning about it, practicing, and enjoying it.  As a result, you will certainly become an expert at it.  When you become an expert on that specific topic, without a doubt, you will get paid more for your expertise.  Soon, fame will follow you.  You might even get to the point where your very name becomes synonymous with that activity.  In the beginning, you may not be able to visualize your success to make your dream come true.  For more on this, I suggest you look at my previous blog called, “Dream big and expect great results.”  That blog will give you the tips and strategies on how to make the process easier!

         But it all starts with the very important quality of having a passion for it!  When you have a passion for something, you will get past the obstacles that arise.  The positive forces in the universe will give you a helping hand when you are passionate about something.  The “law of attraction” will bring you in contact with those who can help.  Just be humble and let the help and guidance flow into your life.  Do it with passion and welcome the results.  Be passionate and success will follow!
