PROVEN TECHNIQUES

UPAR teaches four main methods/techniques to help you grow (emotionally and spiritually) and learn how to become the best version of yourself.

These methods/techniques are Meditation, Yoga, Pranayama, and Philosophy.

Meditation

Meditation is a timeless technique that helps us relax and reflect, so that we can learn more about who we really are and our joyful purpose in life. It helps us manage our daily lives with all its pleasures and challenges, from a position of strength and calmness.

If done correctly with proper guidance, you will be able to achieve success, happiness and fulfillment while living in harmony with yourself and the world around you.

Check out our Courses and Blogs section (sign up below with your email) to read more about how you can input this valuable technique into your daily life.

Yoga

Hatha Yoga or Asana Yoga is the most common and well known type of Yoga. It is practiced by people all over the world for its numerous health benefits. In addition to Hatha/Asana Yoga, there are other forms of Yoga such as Upasana Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Jnana Yoga, which play an important role in learning about and realizing your true "Self.” You will learn about all of them right here on this site.

Hatha Yoga's numerous health benefits include:

-Blood pressure reduction

-Weight reduction

-Enhances bone health

-Increases blood flow

-Maintains your Nervous System

-Enhances sleep

-Increases relaxation and calmness

-and many more…

Pranayama

Pranayama, also known as Yogic Breathing, is a game-changer. Similar to Hatha Yoga, Pranayama has a plethora of health benefits that make it an extremely important technique to learn. In addition, it enhances focus and concentration, enhances sleep, regulates immune system, and has many more beneficial health effects. As a result, it is often a precursor to learning Meditation as it enhances focus, concentration, attention span, and memory.  Pranayama can be practiced in conjunction with Hatha Yoga and Meditation or it can be practiced by itself.

In addition, UPAR teaches other various methods, techniques, and practices to help you grow emotionally and spiritually. Some of these methods include Mantra Japa, various rituals, Kirtans, and many more.

Vedanta / Philosophy

Vedanta is the most important “game-changer” in life; embracing Vedanta is one of the most important and most beneficial actions of your life.  The teachings of Vedanta easily solve many of the problems we suffer from. This is because Vedanta shows you how to see yourself and the world from a unique perspective that will benefit you immensely. Many of our problems are a result of our “wrong thinking.” For instance, many of our problems and conflicts arise from our negative, unproductive views, and invalid conclusions. Vedanta gives you the tools to change the negative, unreasonable, and illogical thought patterns that cause you to suffer unnecessarily.  Simply put, Vedanta is an amazing solution to many of the “hard problems” of life. To test it out and find out for yourself, join me on the journey of Vedanta.
